Buying standards
Cleanly sorted material gets a better price. Please separate it, or tell us in advance, if your lot contains:
- Do not mix copper containing tin or lead, especially for imported goods.
- Does not include copper stripped from soft rubber cable; note small strands tangled in the bundle.
- No core or joint
- Do not mix hard copper wire; test flexibility by bending the wire

Copper Cable Type 2 (colored copper cable, bus cable)
Oxidized or heat‑discolored cable copper, no longer bright but free of contaminants. Because of oxidation the recovery rate is lower and the purchase price is lower than bright cable copper grade A.

- Condition
- Do not mix with tin‑plated copper, brass copper, lead, solder tin, iron, stainless steel, aluminum or leftover insulating sheath fragments from incomplete cutting.

It is clean copper granules cut and shredded from copper wire with a strand diameter of 1.3 mm or larger, free of impurities or other metals.
